Anodizing 

Imperfections like scratches, lines, and uneven surfaces can occasionally occur during the manufacturing process and are considered normal. These features often arise from the high-pressure extrusion techniques used to shape metal. Rest assured, these imperfections do not compromise the FORM, FIT, or FUNCTION of the aluminum. When developing a consumer product, consider using powder coating for a more uniform finish. Metals, like wood, are imperfect.

Anodizing does not cover imperfections, it seals the aluminum properly.
